Reclaimed yarn

Reclaimed yarn cakes. 

If your like me you will love crafting with yarn, but the environmental cost of new yarn on our planet is just too much .

This is my solution, upcycled and reclaimed yarn cakes. 

Every cake has at least 3 strands and some 6 or 7.  The yarns come from unpicked knitwear   including shop produced knitwear left over from the clothes swaps we run. Some come from the ends of projects from our local community.  Some are from factory end if lines.

We then combine these into yarn cakes.  Priced at .02p per gram. 

Every yarn cake is different, many run through multiple colours throughout, we don't trim the knots as we know some like the effect. Just weave then into you work if you like a smooth effect. 

I use these when making my peg loom rugs. 

You will get 500 grams of  mixed yarn cakes.

This will contain some smaller cakes plus some larger ones. 

At the moment we can only send a random selection. If these prove popular we will work towards colourway boxes.
